Coffee Sugar Scrub

I’ve tried ALL the sugar scrubs.
Not many passed my standards.
I’m incredibly selective about what I use on my skin, and eventually I decided I could make a better scrub myself without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients.
So that’s exactly what I did.
This isn’t just sugar floating in oil. I chose every part of the formula intentionally.
Organic Coffee
Coffee grounds provide physical exfoliation and, unlike sugar, don’t immediately dissolve when they meet water. They give this scrub a little extra grit and help buff away dry, flaky surface skin.
Organic Brown Sugar
I chose brown sugar for its finer texture and gentler exfoliation. Sugar is also a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid you may recognize from skincare.
Citrus Peel Powder
Real citrus peel adds another layer of botanical exfoliation along with the beautiful character and brightness of citrus.
Sweet Almond Oil
A lightweight botanical oil that conditions the skin and gives the scrub its rich, silky feel.
Vitamin E
Included as part of the oil blend to condition the skin and complement all that exfoliation.
Orange Essential Oil
Does orange have an interesting botanical story? Absolutely. But if I’m telling the truth about why it’s in this particular jar…
I just really like the way it smells.
The result is a gritty, citrusy scrub that leaves my skin feeling ridiculously smooth, soft and conditioned. It’s one of those products where you can feel the difference as soon as you rinse it away.
Simple formula. Beautiful ingredients. No unnecessary filler.
Sometimes being ridiculously picky pays off.
